A colleague of mine at a art workshop recently came out with 'one of those' inspiring phrases. So have to share with you all....
"Our lives are a mix of different cultures whether it is the food we eat, the traditions we follow or the people we are friends with. These cultural aspects slot together like pieces of a jigsaw to make up the larger picture of who we are".
You know frustrating it is when a piece is missing from a jigsaw.

- Beyond Skin was established in 2004 to use the arts to address sectarianism and the rise in racism. Since then, the cultural make-up of Northern Ireland has changed dramatically, which in turn has produced many problems. Beyond Skin works to address these problems and to use the arts as its main vehicle.
